Bhumibol Dam is a storage dam on the Ping River in Sam Ngao District, Tak province. Its reservoir holds 13,462 million m³. It was completed in 1964 and is run by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). The tallest dam in Thailand and the country's first multipurpose dam.
