Rises in the Sankamphaeng Range in Nakhon Ratchasima province and flows east through Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani. It joins the Mekong River in Khong Chiam district, at the spot known as the Two-Coloured River.
